Business Process Automation
Most operational waste hides in checking, copying, chasing, approving, retyping, and waiting. We map those steps and automate the work that should not need a human every time.
● The starting point for most engagements: automate the repeat work before reaching for AI.

WHAT IT IS
End-to-end workflow mapping and automation. We simplify the process first, build the automation second, and document the new operating rhythm so the team can own it.
WHAT WE IMPROVE
Concrete workflow changes. No theatre.
/BUILD 01
Current-state process map with hours, hand-offs, owners, and failure points attached
/BUILD 02
Future-state workflow with clear triggers, checks, exceptions, and review points
/BUILD 03
Automations that move data, trigger tasks, and prevent duplicate admin
/BUILD 04
Plain-English SOPs your team can use after handover
WHO IT'S FOR
If two of these sound familiar, start with the audit.
- –Teams retyping the same information into multiple systems
- –Owner-led businesses where one person knows every workaround
- –Operations teams scaling beyond informal coordination
COMMON QUESTIONS
Straight answers before you book.
- What is business process automation?
- Business process automation is the practice of mapping a real workflow end to end and then handing the repetitive manual steps to software so they run reliably without a person doing them each time. We start by drawing your current process, find the steps that are just checking, copying, chasing, approving, or retyping, and automate the ones that should not need a human every time. You get a current-state map, a future-state map, and plain-language SOPs, so the change is owned and understood rather than just installed.
- What is the difference between BPA and RPA?
- Business process automation redesigns and automates the whole workflow, while RPA is one tactic inside it that mimics clicks and keystrokes to move data between systems. We treat RPA as an implementation detail, not a starting point: first we map the process and fix the design, then we choose the simplest reliable way to automate each step, which may or may not involve RPA. Automating a broken process only makes the mess run faster, so the mapping comes first.
- How much does process automation cost in South Africa?
- An Automation Sprint starts from R 12 500, with a 50% deposit and the balance on implementation. That covers a fixed scope agreed from your mapped workflow, and includes controls, testing, handover, documentation, and ownership transfer. Before any build, the AI Process Audit is free for now while we build proof, so you can see the workflow and get an honest go or no-go before you spend anything.
- What should I automate first?
- Start with the high-volume, rules-based steps where time, errors, and delays are clearly costing you, not the rare exceptions that still need human judgement. In most businesses that is the checking, copying, chasing, approving, and retyping that happens many times a day across admin, finance, and operations. The audit exists to find that first workflow with you and to give a straight view of whether automating it is worth doing yet.
- Will process automation replace my employees?
- No, the aim is to remove repetitive low-value work from your team, not to remove the team. Automation handles the steps that should not need a human every time, which frees people for the judgement, relationships, and exceptions that software handles poorly. We will also say plainly when a process is better fixed with clearer ownership or simpler steps than with automation, because automating the wrong thing wastes money.
HOW WE ENGAGE
Start small enough to prove value. Build only when the case is clear.
The audit is designed to be useful on its own. If the business case is strong, we scope a focused sprint. Ongoing support comes only after the workflow is live, owned, and worth improving.
- –Map one real workflow live
- –Identify delays, errors, rework, and manual effort
- –Separate process issues from automation opportunities
- –Honest go / no-go recommendation at the end
- –No commitment to proceed
- –Everything in the Audit
- –Simplify and automate the repeatable steps
- –Use AI only where the workflow genuinely needs it
- –Team handover and ownership session
- –30 days of cover after we ship
All pricing in ZAR, excluding VAT. Fixed-scope, no surprise invoices.
Early clients help us build proof, but every recommendation still has to make business sense.
